I've had similar experiences where I spent considerably less on Adcenter than I normally would on Adword, and received far more clicks. IE6 is so old though that it doesn't bother us too much. My only suggestion would be to do a browser check and display a splash page suggesting a browser update when legacy browsers are identified.
